Exabeam, a global provider of intelligence-driven and automated security operations, has named Heba Sayed as Director of Marketing and Communications for India, the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (IMETA).
In this role, Sayed will lead regional marketing and communications efforts across events, social media, media relations and channel marketing. Her mandate includes strengthening Exabeam’s visibility as a preferred cybersecurity partner for solutions such as LogRhythm SIEM and the Exabeam New-Scale Security Operations Platform.
Through focused communications programmes, she will support organisations in building secure and scalable digital environments powered by modern threat detection and response capabilities. She will also play a key role in aligning Exabeam’s engagement with CISOs and security teams to meet the region’s evolving cybersecurity needs.
Alongside driving business growth, Sayed will champion initiatives to empower women in technology and support emerging leaders within the company, with a focus on safeguarding customers’ long-term digital futures.
Her marketing strategy will centre on customer-led outcomes, helping organisations make informed technology decisions, accelerate adoption, and view Exabeam as a trusted partner in their cybersecurity transformation journeys across multiple industries.
Sayed brings more than two decades of experience in technology marketing, having worked closely with sales, product, channel and regional leadership teams. She is recognised for building strong brand narratives and delivering large-scale industry events across the Middle East and Africa.
Her professional background includes senior roles at major global technology firms, most notably a 15-year tenure at IBM, as well as business development leadership positions at TE Data and IT Ventures.
She holds a Business Administration degree from the American University in Cairo and began her career at eKnowledge, part of IT Ventures, where she introduced structured marketing and business development programmes.
At IBM, Sayed progressed from Channel Marketing Specialist to senior leadership positions, including Channel Marketing Leader, Marketing Agency Programme Owner and Portfolio Marketing Manager for Server Solutions. She later became Strategy Leader for Hybrid Cloud and AI, supporting strategic clients across the GCC.
During her time at IBM, she managed multi-million-dollar marketing budgets, enhanced go-to-market strategies and delivered consistent returns on investment, contributing to double-digit growth across systems hardware, commerce and SaaS, along with triple-digit growth in marketing performance.
Following her tenure at IBM, Sayed applied her expertise across marketing, communications, public relations, sales and artificial intelligence at LogRhythm | Exabeam. In 2024, she joined the organisation as Head of Marketing and Communications for IMETA, where she led flagship events, expanded multilingual media engagement, and supported the launch of the regional office in Saudi Arabia.
Under her leadership, Exabeam recorded a fourfold increase in revenue from marketing-driven opportunities in 2025 compared with the previous year.
Sayed’s latest appointment reflects her strong understanding of the IMETA region, her proven ability to deliver marketing impact, and her commitment to enabling both customers and teams to succeed.
